Russia-based company Prelude Games Factory has launched a kickstarter campaign for its Gothic sandbox MMO. It looks for $100,000 of funding which will be used to cover expenses such as development, art source, backer rewards, fees and processing charges, and software license. A small part of the funding will be left as a reserve for unforeseen future expenses.
Inspired by EVE Online, The Secret World, Assassins Creed, and the Batman Arkham series, Dogma: Eternal Night is a Gothic Sandbox MMORPG which is set in a world inhabited by vampires, werewolves and ghosts. It’s a dark allusion to the real world, and the history and appearance are often similar to reality.
Players will take on the role of a vampire and, like other supernatural entities, try to survive in a modern megalopolis. You will become one of the non-living and join a vast community of those who dwell in the night and conceal their existence from mortals. You can check out some core features below.
• Perma-death – The possibility of perma-death will keep players on edge and force them to carefully think through your actions.
• Dynamic environment – Which reacts to players’ every action. Your actions can influence others as well as the world around you.
• No boundaries – Develop your character the way you want. There are no class or level restrictions.
• Live in-game events – Bringing the players and main story-arc characters together, whom you know, love and possibly hate from the Dogma story while encompassing all facets of the MMORPG world (PvP, RP and PvE).
