At BlizzCon 2014, Blizzard unveiled a brand-new team based FPS game named Overwatch, which is their first new franchise in a decade. To celebrate this significant moment, Blizzard also released a 6-minute movie-style cinematic announcement trailer.
Blizzard has been known for creating rather elaborate trailers in the past for their games, and this time they proved it once again. The Overwatch cinematic revealed at Blizzcon has been nominated for a Webby under the category Online Film & Video: Best Editing.
A Webby Award is an award for excellence on the Internet presented annually by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. Categories include websites, interactive advertising, online film and video, and mobile. You can vote for Overwatch for heading to the Webby website and logging in.
