Daum has announced alpha schedule for Black Desert and you can see below the exact time the alpha starts. Besides, players who have obtained an alpha key can download the client when the alpha site blackdesertonline.com/alpha goes live this Friday at 13:37 CEST (4:37 PDT / 7:37 EDT).
Alpha Schedule (live server time):
08:00 / 20:00 CEST (26th October / 1st November)
12:00 / 24:00 EDT (26th October / 1st November)
07:00 / 19:00 PDT (26th October / 1st November)
As Black Desert Online is still in localization and polishing stages to adapt to the Western market, this early alpha version of the EU/NA client will only be able to provide a basic gameplay experience and does not reflect the final state of the product at launch.
Players will also find some features present that are disabled or not fully functional. This is intentional as Daum Games are focusing on tweaking the hardware (server integration) and client configuration. A detailed list of known issues can be found when the game is started. This build will only be playable in English. The level cap during this Alpha is 30.
On the other hand, Daum is bringing Black Desert to Paris Games Week (Oct. 28 – Nov. 1, 2015), allowing European players to get their hands on a demo for the first time. If you are in case live in or near Paris, don't miss it. A new trailer is also released and can be watched below.
